The Project
In a stunning location overlooking the River Colne in Wivenhoe now stands Bawley House. This is a collection of 7 prestigious, contemporary apartments available for purchase, all finished with a selection of timber windows and doors from Dale Joinery.
Renowned local developers Vaughan & Blyth are the developers for the site and with the apartments being in such a picturesque location, they had a desire for large windows and bespoke balcony doors to make the most of the views over the river. These not only make the most of the stunning views, but also complement the architecture of the building and the luxurious living style given to each apartment.
Ideally located close to Colchester but with desirable Essex countryside views and easy access to the train station, these apartments have already been in high demand since their completion in late 2017. In fact, 4 of the 7 apartments had sold within just two weeks of the project being completed!
Sash Windows
With the desire for large windows in the developer’s mind, beautiful arched sash windows from the Dale Joinery range were specified across the new apartments. In the traditional finish of ‘Signal White’, the new windows maximise both natural light and the stunning views over the river.
Bi-Fold Doors
In the living areas of the new apartments are beautiful 3 panel sets of bi-fold doors. Opening the living space and maximising the incredible views that each apartment boasts, bi-fold doors were the perfect solution for this project.
Entrance Doors
Entrance doors, including a number of bespoke arched solutions were also installed in the apartments. Ensuring a consistent style with the new arched sash windows, the new entrance doors are in the same ‘Signal White’ colour finish with a single, vertical glazing bar.
