The Project
Dave Dunphy recognised a development opportunity when he secured the former site of a bungalow in beautiful Oxfordshire. “The bungalow was demolished and the sizeable plot allowed us to construct two large detached properties in its place, complete with timber windows and doors,” said Dave.
Dave Dunphy focuses on high quality, practical family homes with his developments, and comments on how he came to make his decision to use Dale, “I chose Dale because I used to be in the window business for thirty years, so I know a good product when I see one. The new properties needed a wow factor, and the windows, doors and bi-folds provide this effortlessly.”
Both properties have simple and elegant flush casement windows with 36mm horizontal astragal bars throughout, finished in a shade of Grey-White and manufactured in engineered European Redwood for strength and durability.
Contemporary Entrance Doors
Contemporary style front doors were specified for both homes, finished in ‘Anthracite Grey’ to give the homes a modern feel that Dave was keen to achieve.
Flush Casement Windows
Flush casement windows in the shade of ‘Oyster White’ now feature across both properties, with a horizontal 36mm astragal glazing bar. Bespoke, shaped fixed casements were also specified at the rear of the property to maximise natural light and continue the modern theme of the homes.
Bi-Fold Doors
At the rear of both new homes, stunning 5 panel sets of bi-fold doors spanning over 3 metres in width were also specified. These are the ideal solution to open up living areas with gardens and ensure plenty of natural light flows into the home.
