The Project
“We previously owned the house next door which included its own private woodland to the side and rear. We wanted to maximise the potential of this land and build a new home for ourselves” comments Mrs Marsh when describing this recently completed, new build property in the Kent countryside.
After selling the original house on the site and retaining the additional land, planning permission was gained allowing the Marsh family to plan and build their ideal family home.
Mr Marsh was meticulous in his attention to detail in every aspect of the planning of the home. When researching potential avenues for their windows and doors, he looked into various suppliers and material options to find the most appropriate fit.
The works on the home are now complete and the end result has perfectly achieved the desired traditional aesthetic. The private woodland area was also split, and a portion was sold to a property development company. Now complete, 3 new generously sized detached properties have already been eagerly snapped up by discerning buyers.
Flush Casement Windows
Following a meeting with a member of the Dale team and seeing the products first hand, Mrs Marsh was confident in specifying new flush casement windows finished in ‘Signal White’ for the new home. The windows are partnered with 18mm astragal glazing bars and Black Monkeytail handles.
French Doors
At the rear of her home, Mrs Marsh also specified two identical sets of French doors in the same ‘Signal White’ finish as her new windows. The new doors are partnered with 18mm astragal glazing bars and Black Cottage handles to achieve a timeless look.
