The Project
Following the demolition of the original house on the land, Mr and Mrs Bissell are the very proud owners of this stunning, private home in the Hertfordshire countryside.
The picturesque setting of the property, plus the generous plot of land that came with it, gave Mr & Mrs Bissell an opportunity to start anew, and design a home that perfectly fitted the needs for their family.
“We specified and worked closely with an architect to help us create our vision from scratch, and this was essential in creating this home that we are so delighted with” Mr Bissell comments.
“We went with a builder that we had used on our last house, and he recommended Dale Joinery to us as he had used them previously” Mr Bissell explains. With the couple already knowing that a uPVC solution would not suit the home they were building, a strong recommendation for Dale was ideal.
“After speaking to a member of the team, a representative visited and brought a sample with him in the very same colour that we were considering. We were so impressed with this, that we decided to move forward with Dale straight away!” Mr Bissell explains.
Following an arduous build process, the end result is a truly spectacular new home, where the Dale Joinery range of timber windows and doors has proved to be a perfect fit for the vision of the Bissell family, backed by cast iron guarantees for their complete peace of mind.
“The guarantees on the products were especially important for us, we have had a bad past experience with hardwood windows requiring a fresh stain annually, so Dale gave us piece of mind with theirs.”
Flush Casement Windows
Throughout the property, Dale Joinery flush casement windows in the popular shade of ‘Pebble Grey’ were specified and enhanced with 18mm astragal glazing bars and Black Teardrop handles. The colour provides a beautiful contrast to the mixture of render and brickwork façade.
French Doors
To the side of the property, a beautiful new dining room has been constructed, designed with natural light in mind, as large, fixed casement windows, partnered with a beautiful set of French Doors in the same colour finish have been installed.
