The Project
In the picturesque village of Stock in Essex, on the site of what was once a 1970s style property now stands this stunning new build family home. “We originally acquired this site as a part exchange for one of our other developments. It was our goal to build a unique individual home with character” explains Bill Wright of Silverswan Homes, the developer of the site.

The new homeowners, Mr & Mrs Tickel are delighted with their new home. “Bill is the builder you want to have in the area. We bought the house off plan from Bill and he welcomed our input when it came to the fittings and finishes of the windows and doors” comments Mr Tickel.
Flush Casement Windows
To add to the individual character of the home, beautiful flush casement windows were specified, finished in a colour complementary to Dulux ‘Dark Acorn’ externally and ‘Signal White’ internally. Leaded light detailing add a further element of attraction to the new windows and are synonymous with properties in the local area.
Entrance Doors
For the front door, a timeless Pomeroy style door with a single sidelight now features. As with the new windows across the property, the new door is finished in the same complementary colour to Dulux ‘Dark Acorn’ externally and features leaded light detailing.
Bi-Fold Doors
Stunning Bi-fold doors in the same colour finish have also been installed at the rear of the property in the new kitchen as well as the lounge area. With the property backing onto a lovely sized garden, the bi-folds open up the kitchen and living spaces perfectly.
